PART ONE
A Special Report from DTTV News announces the retirement of superheroine Moonbeam （Akira Lane） from the Sisterhood of Superheroines. As the lunar-powered super-babe is interviewed in a taped session with special correspondent Stacy Burke （secretly sister heroine Daisy Chain）, Akira and Stacy watch the recorded interview inside a Sisterhood Safe House. The interview reveals that a search has been underway to find a replacement for Moonbeamm with the finalists narrowed down to two applicants: Lady Monarch （CiCi, formerly Capri Cavanni） and Stunner （Mercy Carr）. As Akira transforms into Moonbeam to meet the finalists in the new Arena of Champions, she wistfully says goodbye to her old friend Stacy. After Moonbeam disappears, Stacy’s beneficent smile turns into a wicked smirk as she transforms into Daisy Chain-her red eyes betraying the fact that she is not who she seems.
When Moonbeam arrives at the Arena, she finds Lady Monarch and Stunner waiting for her-but not in the way she expected. The new heroines proceed to blast and batter the unsuspecting heroine and Moonbeam finds herself fighting for her life, not understanding what has caused these Sisterhood hopefuls to attack her so savagely and wondering if she’ll actually live long enough to retire.
